How does billing work?

How does billing work?

We currently offer 3 different types of subscription membership. You billing experience will differ depending on your type of membership. Here's how it works:

We'll attempt to bill your card on the first day of each billing month.

If your card declines, we'll try again up to 5 times over the following 3 weeks (the billing period).

If we're unable to charge you during the billing period, your subscription will be marked as "unpaid" and you'll stop receiving boxes until we're able to bill you again.

The "billing month" differs for each type of membership. For each type of membership, you get billed as follows:
  1. Bi-monthly plan - once every two months
  2. 6-month plan - once every six months
  3. 12-month plan (Annual plan) - once every year
For example, if you're on the bi-monthly plan, and you get billed on the 1st day of May, you can expect your next payment to be on the 1st day of July. If you're on the 6-month plan and you get billed on the 1st day of May, you can expect your next payment to be on the 1st day of November.
